A legendary incident took place that would forever become known to the world as the “Montreal Screwjob.” Bret “The Hitman” Hart lost his title to Shawn Michaels in an unscripted, controversial, double-crossing stoppage that to this day marks the end of an era in pro wrestling. Hart had his title taken, but became an even bigger icon in the world at large. Now that’s a flex.
