For a while now we’ve been noticing some pretty nice bikes roaring out of the chain link gate of a warehouse compound across the street. A few weeks ago we grabbed a camera and a six-pack and headed over to investigate.
What we found were some interesting guys doing interesting things with machines. In sharp contrast to the cold storage meat lockers next door, their garage-studio-bar-jam space is an oil and grease-stained paradise brimming with chrome. Shelves of bike parts lined the walls, stacked to the ceiling and hanging from the rafters. A custom Triumph sat on the worktable, half-built but awesome.
Bike season over, we talked about their last run of the summer, up to the DisasterDaze 2011 bike weekend. Bands, beach, bikes & beer. .. it’s all over now but you can at least get the Budweiser shirt and think of next year…
